Q. Where is your studio?
A. pbh Art, Inc.'s studio is in the Chapmanville area of Logan County, West Virginia. It is open by appointment only and most of our clients are from Lincoln, Logan, Mingo, and Boone Counties. We have a fabulous studio on acres and acres of WV beauty: creek, hills, pastures, barns, farm animals, horses, etc.

Q. Why the name pbh Art, Inc
A. Peggie B. Hensley, the founder of pbh Art, Inc., chose the name to encompass all facets of art, although photography is the main focus. Peggie is certified to teach visual art, pre-K - adults, and Biological Science. Her style of photography is artsy, using Photoshop to manipulate her photographs into photographic art.

Q. What photo packages do you have?
A. At pbh Art, Inc., we didn't start out with photo packages. We wanted to let our clients buy just what they wanted...without spending a ton of money...choosing from ALL poses at NO ADDITIONAL COST! But, because some clients like to have it all figured out, we have put together packages at three levels. Now you can have it either way: put together the package you want from the a la carte list OR choose a package.

Q. So, do you mean I can buy prints from all of my poses?
Yes, you can buy just one print of every pose, or hundreds of prints from just one pose. You decide what you want and need, we're happy to accommodate you. We're in the photography business, not the photo package business. We won't charge you extra to get more poses.

Q. What does a photo session cost?
A. If you choose a package, the session fee is included. Studio sessions begin at $30.00 for one person, $50.00 for groups of two or more. We encourage you to bring your own props. We create images for you to preview (usually withing two weeks after your session). From the MANY shots we take, we choose only the best to color correct and edit for you to preview. We've found that giving too many previews is confusing and makes your decisions more difficult.

Q. How long will a session take?
A. That depends on several factors. If you know you're only interested in one great shot, we might be finished in fifteen minutes. If you want to change outfits and sets, it might take several hours. With children, booking a two hour block of time permits resting, feeding, soothing, and other strategies that guarantee good photographs.

Q. If I want to change outfits for some of my poses, what do you charge?
A. The flat session fee is for one or two outfits. Add $10.00 for each additional outfit.

Q. Do you make selective color photographs?
A. Yes, selective color artistry (one part in color, the other part of the photograph in black and white or sepia) can be added to a photo session for $15.00.

Q. What do you charge to add my name or the year to my wallets?
A. We add name and/or year to wallets when requested at no additional charge.

Q. What about black and white photographs? Do you charge extra for that?
A. No. You may choose to have one or all of your images processed as black and white photographs, at no extra charge.

Q. Do you charge extra for the montages?
A. For a session that includes a montage (several photographs combined in one image), add $10.00 for each additional image.
